In its latest report, research consultancy Mercom confirms our leadership position and highlights the scale and diversity of TotalEnergies’ projects worldwide. Better still, our global solar power capacity exceeds the combined capacity of the two companies ranked second (Adani) and third (Brookfield).
For several years now, TotalEnergies has been investing heavily in the solar segment, with stakes in major projects around the world, including the 800-MW Al Kharsaah solar power plant in Qatar.
Solar power projects are just one example of the many ways in which TotalEnergies is implementing its energy transition. The Company continues to look for opportunities to further consolidate its role as a world leader in the solar segment.
TotalEnergies plans to pursue the expansion of its power generation business, with the aim of tripling its electricity production from 33 TWh to more than 100 TWh by 2030.
