Every six months, the selected participants will get a chance to rotate across businesses. Those areas include Risk Control, Internal Control, Financial Reporting, and Financial Control & Analysis. Upon successful completion of the Graduate program, participants are placed in a vacant Finance or Accounting position.

Those selected to be a part of the program are hired as employees which means they receive a comprehensive benefits package, 6% Company match 401k, a robust leave policy, company non-contributory cash balance plan and more.

Trading Graduate Program

By joining our Trading Graduate Program, you can shape your future. Over two exciting years, you will rotate across four departments where you will understand how we operate as a company and gain a full appreciation of our key functions, preparing you to grow your career within Energy Trading. The rotations will take place in key trading support functions including Middle Office, Trading Operations and Market Analysis. The four rotations will consist of a mix of crude oil and petroleum products (including biofuels) and natural gas and power assignments. This is a unique opportunity to embark on an enriching multi-energies journey!

Our program will be engaging and intense. In addition to usual business activities, we are offering a comprehensive training program including:

Annual Trainee Days

Each year, we have all our interns, graduate students, and co-ops gather for two days of fun and learning. A representative from each business segment of TotalEnergies speaks to the participants about the business in which they work as well as what day-to-day looks like in their position.

The goal of the Trainee Days is for the participants to get to know all the business segments of TotalEnergies, network with fellow participants, establish connections with their mentors and build their personal network.
