In 2021 The TotalEnergies U.S. Diversity & Inclusion Committee was created to facilitate our progress to build and retain a diverse and inclusive workplace across all of our US business activities.

Diversity & Inclusion is critical to make us a strong and effective organization for all our employees.

The Committee is committed to:

• Helping us advance on our common Company-wide diversity objectives and to creating a forum where different viewpoints, thoughts and ideas that support our business strategies can come to life.

• Attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate; and

• Ensuring that all our employees feel valued and included as their authentic selves.

The Committee is comprised of representatives from each business segment.

In the U.S. our Diversity and Inclusion initiatives are centered around 3 key Areas of Focus:

Recruitment- We want to ensure that our recruitment efforts promote diversity for both internal and external candidates. We have implemented new technology to reduce potential bias and help us hire qualified candidates with greater equity and objectivity.

Promotions- At TotalEnergies we pride ourselves on providing our employees with resources to plan for their career, develop their abilities, and thrive professionally. Employees have a dedicated Talent Developer who partners with them throughout their career to develop and implement a career plan, increase their competencies, and prepare for future job opportunities. We also offer training, networking events, mentoring opportunities, and sponsorship programs for continual development.

Inclusion- We strive to listen to our employees, celebrate our diversity, and think inclusively. We listen to experts and survey our U.S. employees to understand what is needed to achieve a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace and to identify opportunities for continual improvement. We regularly highlight the heritages and backgrounds of our U.S. employees through their voices and stories, for all to listen and benefit. Inspired by our values, we all have a part to play in delivering responsible energy to the world, but nothing will come of it unless we rally and rise to the occasion, both individually and as a group.
