Large-scale solar and battery storage: Our Solar Projects
TotalEnergies has built a wide portfolio of operated and non-operated solar and battery storage projects across the United States, including Myrtle Solar, a 380 MW utility-scale solar power plant with battery storage.
Our portfolio includes 8 GW of utility-scale solar production and battery storage – in operation or in development – following the acquisition of Core Solar, project purchases from SunChase, and its partnership with Hanwha Energy. We have committed one gigawatt of this green power generation to help cover all the electricity consumption of TotalEnergies’ petrochemicals sites in the U.S., including our Port Arthur Platform (Texas) and La Porte (Texas) and Carville (Louisiana).
Safety is paramount at TotalEnergies. It is a core value we all take very seriously, including at our Myrtle Solar Farm located in Angleton, TX.
